Executive Directors

The Company is in the final stages of our empowerment process. This will result in additions to the executive directorship. These changes will be reflected shortly on completion of the empowerment process.

Jaco Van Der Westhuizen— Managing Director

Mr van der Westhuizen is a BEng (Hon) Mech and a BEng Mech, in addition to being an associate member of the SA Institute of Mechanical Engineering (SAIMech), and is affiliated to the Engineering Council of South Africa (ECSA), the Project Management Institute of South Africa (PMISA) and the SA Institute of Materials Handling (SAIMH). Mr van der Westhuizen has over 9 years experience in the construction and commissioning of various power generations and associated plants.  He has experience in all aspects of Project Management from the initiation to completion of large, multi-disciplinary projects.  He has participated in and completed various large-scale industrial projects as both Project Engineer and Project Manager. Mr. van der Westhuizen has extensive design and consulting experience in the field of bulk solids handling, obtaining his Masters Degree of Engineering MEng (BSH) at the University of Newcastle & Wollagang in Australia.

Jeremy Kirsch — Executive Director

Mr Kirsch is a BSc in Mechanical Engineering and has completed study towards his MSc Mech Eng in the application of Nuclear Physics for the field of Mechanical Wear.  He has 18 years of extensive experience in process design, control strategy, commissioning, training, long-term support, selling and marketing.  His vast expertise in new technology and business development is recognised worldwide, holding several patents in the minerals and metals industry. In Sub Saharan Africa alone, Mr Kirsch has excelled in designing, selling, installing and commissioning projects for blue chip companies such as Sappi, Nestle, Angloplats, Colgate, BHP Billiton and Impala Platinum, ensuring all planning and design methods meet the highest international standards.
