Carel joined Clyde Bergemann Africa in late 2008, initially as a consultant to do a project integration study and setting up a factory. He’s held his current position since mid-2009.

 He is responsible for the manufacturing and/or assembly of locally manufactured products and imported components, as well as the field services function.

Before joining Clyde Bergemann Africa, Carel held several positions, including production manager, with one of the prominent international motor vehicle manufacturers in the country. His last position was that of National Service Engineering Operations Manager.
